Minnetonka is a lively community with family-friendly local events throughout the year. The annual on Thanksgiving morning is organized by Minnetonka High School. Participants start at the school and run 5K through the city’s streets. June’s starts with a tot trot fun run and has a variety of activities throughout the day aimed at all ages. The festival ends with an evening of live music performances and fireworks at Civic Center Park. in Minnetonka is a nine-hole public course with sand and grass bunkers, water hazards, and challenging changes in elevation.
